Growing up in church all my life I always heard about fasting but never had I done it. When I heard the message at ES First that pointed out the Bible verse that says “When you fast”, not IF you fast, but “WHEN you fast” I realized that God was saying – Hey! Ya need to fast! – So I participated in the corporate 21 days of fasting at ES First.

This was an amazing experience and I am so glad I had a family of believers to lean on that were in the campaign with me. I have never felt closer to God than in those 21 days. The fasting was a constant prayer in my life, I read my Bible more, I listened to Christian music more, and felt like I was constantly talking about God! I’m happy to say that on top of the blessings my husband and I received as a direct result of this fast I have a more God centered life, I have a renewed fervor in my ministries, and my attitude towards life and other people got a serious face lift! Thanks ES First for hosting a campaign that impacted my life so greatly!
